Sitara-e-Imtiaz to be given Prof Dr Muhammad Ashfaq in recognition of his research achievements, services to humanity.

The government has announced that will award Sitara-e-Imtiaz to Prof Dr Muhammad Ashfaq in recognition of his research achievements and services to humanity.
Dr Ashfaq is a veteran agricultural scientist of the country, presently working as Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF). Ashfaq is a stalwart in the field of Integrated Pest Management and Agro-based Cottage Industries and has numerous distinct achievements at his credit. He is already a recipient of the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz and Quaid-e-Azam Gold Medal.
