Going digital: Seminar on library management at KU

Sri Charan, Meher Siddartha, Suresh Babu in Hyderabad, India, conducted workshop through internet.

KARACHI: A workshop titled ‘Open Source Integrated Library Management System’ was held at the Karachi University (KU) on Thursday to discuss how library networks can be managed digitally.

In the workshop, librarians of the city’s private and government-run facilities were taught how to use Newgenlib, a library management software. Sri Charan, Meher Siddartha and Suresh Babu, who are on the software’s support team in Hyderabad, India, conducted the workshop through the internet.
