Rabish Ahmed scored a fine half-century to help Taimuria Sports win the Razi Ahmed Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament as they defeated Shalimar Gymkhana by 20 runs in the final played at the TMC Ground in Gulberg. Batting first, Taimuria made 144 for four in 20 overs as their batting revolved around an important innings of 77 from Ahmed, who struck two sixes and seven boundaries, while Saud Shakil chipped in with 35. Mohammad Usman took two wickets, giving away 14 runs in his four overs. In response, Shalimar Gymkhana could only make 124 for six in their allotted overs with Daniyal Shah top-scoring with 47, while Mohammad Mohsin scored 36. Shakil, Ehtesham ul Haq and Mohammad Waqas took two wickets apiece for the winners. Shakil was later adjudged as the man of the final.
