A Malaysian businessman has been awarded the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz for his contribution to increasing trade between Malaysia and Pakistan. Dato Mohamad Salim Fateh Din, chairperson of the Malaysia-Pakistan Business Council (MPBC), has been actively pursuing increased trade between the two countries and is at the forefront of the Single Country Exhibition Malaysia to be held in Pakistan, said a press release on Thursday.

Supported by Malaysia’s Ministry of International Trade and Industry, Salim hosted landmark dialogues boasting bilateral trade between the two countries, particularly in the agriculture and agro-based sectors, said the press release. The Tamgha-i-Imtiaz is the fourth-highest decoration given to any civilian in Pakistan based on their achievements, according to Wikipedia.
