Combing: Police hold suspected robber from F-7
Police were on look out for a car laden with explosives, and got hold of the robber in the process.
ISLAMABAD:
The city police on Wednesday arrested a suspect wanted for burglaries at School Road in F-7. The suspect, Ishaq, was later transferred to Margalla Police Station, as he was wanted in cases there, a Kohsar police officer said. The police were on look out for a car laden with explosives, as indicated by intelligence reports, and got hold of the robber in the process. He was nabbed during the combing of restaurants and guest houses after police failed to find the car. However, it was not clear if police recovered any weapons or explosives from the suspect. However, the Margalla police Station House Officer Hussain Lassi denied receiving custody of the suspect, saying he had no knowledge of the arrest. A case had not been registered against the suspect in either of the two police stations till the filing of this report.
