Tax payments: FBR extends deadline to August 30
FBR extended last date for payment of taxes, and filing of sales tax and federal excise returns up to August 30
ISLAMABAD:
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the last date for payment of taxes, and duty and filing of sales tax and federal excise returns up to August 30 for the month of July 2012 for all registered persons. FBR spokesperson Riffat Shaheen has said, in a statement issued here, that the decision had been taken by the FBR in exercise of the powers conferred to the authority under Section 74 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, and Section 43 of the Federal Excise Act, 2005.
