The inquiry commission constituted to probe the barbaric incident of lynching of two brothers in Sialkot, will submit its report in the Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday.
Director General Rescue 1122 Punjab Dr Rizwan Naseer claimed that the rescue centre is not responsible for negligence, as they tried to contact the police but they did not arrive promptly.
While speaking at a press conference in Sialkot, Rizwan Naseer said that the rescue team had put their lives on the line to protect the two brothers who were killed by the mob.
The Director General said that a cleric had brought the two teenagers to his office and during the time the boys stayed in the office they were given full protection.
Meanwhile the secondary school examination results of one of the victims of the Sialkot torture case, Muneeb Butt, have been announced on Wednesday.
Muneeb Butt was the younger of the two brothers who were brutally killed in Butter area near Sialkot. He was a ninth grade student and took his examination in science subjects from the Gujranwala Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.
Muneeb's cousin told Express 24/7 that he had secured 'A' grade in his exams by obtaining 342 marks out of 525.
