Pakistanis In UAE: New portal to resolve issues of expats
Portal will update Pakistani community about important developments and announcements round-the-clock.
ABU DHABI:
Pakistan’s embassy in the United Arab Emirates will launch within the next three weeks a web-based and SMS generated community database which aims to index over 1.2 million Pakistanis settled in the emirates. In a press release, Ambassador Jamil Ahmed Khan said that the portal will update the Pakistani community about important developments and announcements round-the-clock. It will enable Pakistanis living in the Emirates to lodge their complaints and resolve the issues they face while being abroad. He added that that at a later stage the software will be integrated with the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis.
