Law and order: Five arrested for murder, robbery

Police said they had also recovered the weapon the suspects used to kill the farmer.

Saddar police have arrested five men who, they claim, have confessed to killing a farmer during a robbery at his house on Monday morning.


Deputy Superintendent of Police (Saddar) Tahir Nawaz and his team tracked down one Sabir Shah and later arrested the other four men on his indication.

They were identified as Nasir Baloch alias Nasri, Manzar Baloch, Muhammad Asif and Muhammad Ahmed.

The police said they had also recovered the weapon the suspects used to kill the farmer, Mansabdar Kaloana Sial, during a robbery at his house in Chak 173, Mochiwala.

An FIR has been registered against them and investigations started in the matter.

Police said the suspects were wanted for several other robberies and murders as well.

Jhang District Police Officer Akhtar Umar Hayat Lalika has announced certificates and cash prizes for the police team for tracking down the suspects.
