Back to school: Schools, colleges reopen

The two-and-a-half month summer break started on June 16.

ISLAMABAD:
Educational institutions working under the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) reopened on Monday after summer vacations which were extended due to Ramazan and Eid-ul-Fitr. The two-and-a-half month summer break started on June 16. Ali Rahmat, a sixth grader at FG Model School for Boys F-6/2 said he spent the vacation in Gilgit, where he enjoyed the weather with his family and relatives. Yasmeen Shah, a teacher, said Ramazan and Eidul Fitr gave extra time to students to enjoy their vacations, but now they should focus on their studies and their syllabi.
