Football: Suarez eyes fresh start
The Uruguay international has had his fair share of problems since moving to Anfield.
Liverpool forward Luis Suarez insists he has drawn a line under last season's controversies and is looking for a fresh start in the 2012-13 campaign, according to Sky Sports. The Uruguay international has had his fair share of problems since moving to Anfield in January 2011, most notably the alleged racial abuse of Manchester United defender Patrice Evra which resulted in an eight-match ban for the 25-year-old. However, he recently signed a new long-term contract at Anfield and is now looking to focus on his football as the Reds look to rebuild under new manager Brendan Rodgers. “We are professional footballers," said Suarez. “We play football on the pitch. Like any other problem someone has, you put it behind you and move on.”
