QUETTA: The relatives of Baloch missing persons staged a protest rally urging the UN to take notice of the enforced disappearances and discovery of bullet-riddled bodies of Baloch political activists and intellectuals. A large number of relatives of the missing persons, including Baloch women and children, participated in the rally held on Monday, the first day of the Eid. They claimed that more than 400 bullet-riddled bodies of Baloch missing persons had been recovered under the PPP government. “If immediate steps were not taken for the recovery of missing persons it will lead to a bigger human disaster,” they warned. The rally was organised by Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP), after Eid prayers that marched through different parts of the provincial capital and assembled outside the Quetta Press Club.
