Road accident: Five of a family killed on Eid day
Five passengers were killed, while one, identified as Farman, was badly wounded.

Five members of a family were killed and another was injured seriously when the car they were travelling in plunged into a river near Harno on Monday afternoon. Police and eyewitnesses said that six members of a family from Sawabi District were on their way to Nathiagali when their car (QU- 299) developed some mechanical fault and fell into Daur River, some four kilometres from Abbottabad city. Five passengers were killed, while one, identified as Farman, was badly wounded. They were taken to Benazir Shaheed Hospital, from where Farman was shifted to the intensive care ward of Ayub Medical Complex. The deceased were identified as Muhammad Riaz, his wife Naseem Bibi, his daughters Somayya and Shameela and his son Talha Khan.
