India has claimed that Pakistan targeted three of its posts along the Jammu and Kashmir international border, the Press Trust of India reported on Wednesday.

An Indian Border Security Force official said that there was small arms firing on Tuesday evening for 30 minutes. Pakistan Rangers had fired on the Narayanpur, Pindi and Stop-2 posts, says the report.

The official said that the border force did not retaliate and no loss of life or damage to property was reported.

The report claims that Pakistan has violated the ceasefire 15 times during the past 18 days.

It had earlier been reported that one Indian BSF trooper was killed and at least one Pakistani civilian was critically injured in crossfire between Pakistan and India in the Chaprar sector of Sialkot.
