Price gouging on eid: Police to ensure fair transport prices

Traffic Police will monitor public transtport to ensure there is no overcharging on Eid. A press release issued by the police on Friday said traffic police and transport department have formed joint teams for the purpose. The teams will be supervised by the Shahdara Traffic Circle DSP. The teams will monitor the General Bus Stand at Lorry Adda and bus stands at Babu Sabu and Thokar Niaz Baig. People can call the city traffic police helpline (1915) to report overcharging.
