Murder: Woman shot dead, two injured

Five persons armed with weapons raided a house in Burma Town and started manhandling the residents.

ISLAMABAD: A petty dispute between two families on Friday turned serious claiming a woman’s life and injuring two others. The Shahzad Town police said that a group of five persons armed with weapons raided the house of Amin Jan in Burma Town and started manhandling him and his family. When Jan put up resistance the attackers pulled out their pistols and opened indiscriminate fire at the family. As a result, Jan, his wife, Makhmoran Jan and a family member suffered multiple injuries. Later, the police were informed who shifted the injured to Pims where she was pronounced dead.
