Baitul Maal Chief: Official urges Zakat for needy

Pakistan Baitul Maal Chairman Zumurd Khan said that all those who want to give Zakat should try their best to reach out to deserving people. Talking in a panel discussion on a private news channel, he said the patients of thalassemia, kidney diseases and cancer are deserving recipients, and often need up to Rs 10 to 15 thousand per week for treatment.
