AML’s information secretary categorically ruled out any alliance with his party.
LAHORE:
Refuting media speculation on politician Sheikh Rashid joining the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), the party’s information secretary, Shafqat Mehmood, categorically ruled out any alliance with his party (Awami Muslim League) for the upcoming general elections. The flurry of media speculation followed Rashid’s meeting with PTI chairman Imran Khan. “Sheikh Rashid called on Imran Khan and invited him to address the rally that his party is organising on August 13 in Rawalpindi.
