Freed: Bail granted in arson case
An FIR was registered in Shah Latif police station against Khan.
KARACHI:
The first additional district and sessions judge, Iqbal Ahmed Khawaja, approved the bail application of Maqbool Khan, who was involved in setting a bus on fire in April 2011. An FIR was registered in Shah Latif police station against Khan. His lawyer, Muhammad Akhtar Jamal, said that Khan was arrested on a tip-off by a police informer and other than that there was no evidence of his involvement in the case. The bail was set at Rs50,000.
