KARACHI: A Sri Lankan trade delegation will visit Karachi in October 2012 and participate in the Expo Pakistan exhibition. This was stated by Sri Lankan Consul General in Karachi, DW Jinadasa, at an iftar dinner hosted by Pak-Sri Lanka Business Forum President Tarek Khan. He said efforts are being made to improve bilateral trade, for which vast potential exists between two countries. “We are planning to have interactive promotion sessions with Pakistani business community, investors, traders, industrialists to create awareness of immense business opportunities available in Sri Lanka. We are looking closely at the government, private sector trade associations and others to improve bilateral trade.” Jinadasa said.
