Four Afghanistan bound trucks stopped, searched
Police let the trucks go when the did not find any lethal weapons in the search.

Four containers loaded with supplies for the foreign troops in Afghanistan were temporarily stopped and searched in Ramak area of DI Khan district on Wednesday on the suspicion that they were carrying weapons.
An official of Throu police station said that the containers were enroute to Afghanistan as part of the goods supply convoy for NATO troops when they stopped the trucks at the Ramak checkpoint after they were informed that they contained weapons.
The official further said that police thoroughly checked the containers but couldn’t find any weapons and cleared them.
The police official added that it was a routine check-up and after confirmation let the drivers carry on their journey.
Under the new agreement signed between Pakistan and US on resumption of Nato supply, the government has the authority to check all the containers over any suspicion of carrying arms and ensure that they were not carrying lethal weapons to Afghanistan.
