McChrystal calls on COAS
RAWALPINDI:
US General Stanley McChrystal has called upon Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani at the GHQ in Rawalpindi.
The two sides discussed the issues of professional interest and Pakistan's efforts to eliminate militancy. Gen McChrystal appreciated Pakistan Army's efforts in the on going war against terrorism in its tribal region.
Gen Kayani briefed the US general about the ongoing operation in Orakzai agency. On this, Gen McChrystal assured him of full US support in combating terrorists
