CHARSADDA:
A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) aircraft made an emergency landing near a graveyard in the Turangzai area on Monday. The two-seater MFi-17 Mushshak took off from PAF’s Risalpur base and had to make an emergency landing at around 12:25 pm due to a technical fault in the plane, PAF’s media wing director Captain Tariq Mehmood told The Express Tribune.  Though no one was injured, the landing gear of the aircraft was damaged. Mehmood said that an inquiry has been ordered into the incident. Charsadda police chief Nisar Marwat said that police and local residents rushed to the site soon after the crash landing and helped the two pilots get out of the cockpit safely. On May 17, two PAF Mushshak aircraft collided mid-air during a training session near the Rashakai area of Risalpur, Nowshera district.
