Crime: Cash and valuables looted
Robbers made away with 11 tola gold ornaments, Rs80,000 cash besides other valuables.

Unknown persons looted valuables and currency notes in separate incidents here on Monday. In the first incident, five dacoits entered the house of a local trader Haji Gulnawaz of Mohalla Gali Maula Baba, tortured the women and locked them in a room. They then made away with 11 tola gold ornaments, Rs80,000 cash besides other valuables. In the second incident, four persons deprived Tasawar Hussain of his truck. Hussain told police that he was taking live on his truck, when reached near Kalu Kotha, four unknown persons stopped him. They fastened him and his conductor and took away the truck along with the animals.
