Honoured: National Youth Assembly appoints governor

Mirbaz hails from Gilgit-Baltistan, won an international essay competition and received a prize from then-PM Gilani

The National Youth Assembly (NYA) has appointed Saeeda Mirbaz Khan as the governor of the mock youth parliament.


According to a notification, issued by the NYA, Khan has been appointed youth governor for two months.

Khan, who hails from Gilgit-Baltistan, won an international essay competition and received a prize from then-prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani.

She will create new activities to help others learn with the spirit of self-reliance, such as participation in TV and radio talk shows broadcasting from G-B, visiting the region’s assembly, conducting NYA seminars and conferences, and establishing a working relationship with credible organizations on equal basis. She will also be tasked with involving the youth of G-B to promote social activities like arranging matches and debate competitions in different institutions.

Amjad | 11 years ago | Reply Congratulation on your appointment as governor youth assembly. We expect that you must chalk out a root map for country youth to think about country and contribute individually to resolve multiple issues by leading and counseling their free minds.
