The National Youth Assembly (NYA) has appointed Saeeda Mirbaz Khan as the governor of the mock youth parliament.
According to a notification, issued by the NYA, Khan has been appointed youth governor for two months.
Khan, who hails from Gilgit-Baltistan, won an international essay competition and received a prize from then-prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani.
She will create new activities to help others learn with the spirit of self-reliance, such as participation in TV and radio talk shows broadcasting from G-B, visiting the region’s assembly, conducting NYA seminars and conferences, and establishing a working relationship with credible organizations on equal basis.
