The drivers chanted slogans against the government and FC.
QUETTA:
A number of Nato container drivers staged a demonstration outside the Quetta Press Club on Saturday against the alleged extortion of money and bribes demanded by the Frontier Corps (FC) personnel in different areas of Balochistan. The drivers chanted slogans against the government and FC, demanding an immediate end to extortion. Talking to reporters, the drivers said that they had no trouble while travelling in Balochistan but when they reach Quetta, the FC would demand money from them on their way to Chaman. They said that it was hard for them to make both ends meet as FC at Buleli Check Post Kuchlak demanded Rs10,000 from each container.
