Livestock: More than 455,140 animals vaccinated

The livestock officer says 72,000 poultry birds were given vaccine to immunise them against Rani Khet disease.

FAISALABAD:
Livestock Department has vaccinated more than 455,140 animals in its pre-flood vaccination campaign in Faisalabad, District Officer (Livestock) Dr Abdur Rehman said on Saturday. He said 336,940 animals were inoculated against diphtheria; 6,000 against the foot and mouth disease; 19,000 against enteritis poison and 21,200 against pneumonia. The livestock officer said 72,000 poultry birds were given vaccine to immunise them against Rani Khet disease.
