Changes in land use: New survey of leased lands ordered

Commissioner Khan Khichi said a survey will be conducted on lands attained on lease in the Bahawalpur division

BAHAWALPUR: Commissioner Muhammad Khan Khichi said on Friday a survey will be conducted on lands attained on lease in the Bahawalpur division. He said the cost will be covered by those using agricultural land as commercial land. The meeting discussed issued regarding leased lands to formulate a policy on how to convert agricultural land to commercial land. He said all approved katchi abadis will be given ownership rights soon.
