Pakistan beat England by four wickets in the third Test at The Oval thus ending their victory-drought against the hosts dating back to November 2005. While the tourists still trail 2-1 in the four-match series, the fourth-day win now keeps the series alive with the final Test taking place at Lord’s next week.


Umar Akmal hit the winning single to take Pakistan to 148 for six after the hosts were dismissed for 222 in the first over of the day.
