Follow up: ‘Terrorist’ laid to rest

Participants of the funeral said they had attended lectures the deceased gave on religion and importance of jihad.

MULTAN: The man, killed by a Crime Investigation Agency police team on Wednesday on suspicions of terrorism, was laid to rest following funeral prayers at his home town Basti Salani in Taunsa. Talking to The Express Tribune, Ghulam Hussain Qaiserani, father of deceased Abdul Ghaffar Qaserani, said he and his family had moved out of the family home after he had been named in the FIR of an attack on a bank in Taunsa. He said his sons had taught at several prominent seminaries in Khanewal and Multan. Some of the participants of the funeral said they had attended lectures the deceased gave on religion and importance of jihad.
