Non-appearance: AG’s bail application dismissed

Judge dismissed application as the AG did not appear before the court on Wednesday after being granted interim bail.

LAHORE: A judge on Wednesday dismissed the bail application of Punjab Accountant General (AG) Chaudhry Muhd Aslam in the murder case of an assistant accounts officer. The judge dismissed the application as the AG did not appear before the court on Wednesday after being granted interim bail. The counsel for complainant said that the accused had also not joined the investigation after being granted bail. The court dismissed the bail application. A case was registered against AG Aslam and additional accountant general Kamal Siddique and two unidentified suspects over the murder.
