Toy bomb injures three children in Bannu
The 3 boys were returning home with the toy when it exploded.
BANNU:
Three children were injured when a toy bomb exploded in Dogar Emerzai area of Bannu district on Tuesday.
SHO Aqeel Khan of Town police station while talking to The Express Tribune said that the children identified as seven year-old Sheryar, four year-old Zameer Khan along with eight year-old Taimur Khan, were playing when Sheryar found a toy in a garbage heap near his house.
The boys took the toy back to their house. As they neared the gate of their home, the toy exploded in Sheryar's hands, injuring him and the other two children with him.
Khan said that they were rushed to the District headquarters Hospital where doctors referred Sheryar to the Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar due to his unstable condition. The other two were sent back after being given first aid.
The police officer added that they rushed to the area and met Haji Shah Noor an elder of the injured children. He though, refused to file a report. Khan added that investigations were underway.
