Naved’s hearing adjourned yet again
The PCB appointed one-man tribunal has deferred yet another hearing of Rana Naved until September 25.
LAHORE:
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) appointed one-man tribunal has deferred yet another hearing of Rana Naved until September 25.
“Naved wanted to clear his position with the PCB before pursuing his case but due to the chairman’s non-availability, he failed to do so,” said Irfan Qadir, the retired judge hearing the appeals. “Therefore it has been agreed that both parties will meet on September 7.”
Naved’s lawyer claimed there was no observation in the Inquiry Committee Report against Naved and hence the penalties could not be justified.
“I’m hopeful that things will be cleared up and September 25 will be the concluding hearing day,” said Naved.
