Jinnah hospital: Child cancer patient kills himself
Child jumped to his death from the fourth floor of Jinnah Hospital
LAHORE:
A 14-year-old cancer patient who could not afford treatment jumped to his death from the fourth floor of Jinnah Hospital on Monday night. A doctor at the hospital who witnessed the incident said that Tanveer, the son of a labourer from Okara, had tried to kill himself on an earlier occasion but the staff had stopped him. He was being kept in the Medical Unit II at Jinnah Hospital. The Jinnah Hospital administration did not confirm the incident. Assistant Medical Superintendent Dr Saeed Sohban said he was unaware of the incident.
