Extreme step: Man commits suicide
Police sources said Muhammad Kamran was alone in his room when the incident took place.

A 30-year-old man committed suicide by shooting himself with a pistol in Rawat on Sunday. Police sources said Muhammad Kamran was alone in his room when the incident took place. On hearing the gunshot, his colleagues rushed towards him, only to find Kamran lying in a pool of blood. The Rawat police shifted the body to a hospital and booked the pistol into evidence. It is yet to be established, how the victim got the pistol and what made him take his life, police added. The victim had been working at a pipe manufacturing factory as a painter, for the last seven years.
