Prime Minister's Flood Relief Fund collects Rs1.98b
PM Gilani says foreign aid pouring in from around the world is a testimony to the worlds trust in Pakistan Government.

Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Saturday said that so far Rs1.98 billion has been collected through the Prime Minister’s Flood Relief Fund.
Speaking to the media in Lahore, he said that foreign aid is pouring in from around the world and it stands as a testimony to the fact that the world trusts Pakistan government.
Prime Minister Gilani said the proposal forwarded by PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif, to form an independent commission for the collection of funds, has been rejected by other provinces.
He added that the advice of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif of setting up an aid commission has been cancelled after a meeting of all four provinces.
The Prime Minister pointed out that Shahbaz Airbase is under the control of Pakistan and not any other nation.
