FAISALABAD: Madina Chowk police have registered a case against a man for illegally making and storing fireworks at his house. The matter was reported to the police following a blast at the house, apparently caused by the fireworks, on Friday. The roof of the house had collapsed in the blast. The police seized eight bags of fireworks during the raid. The suspect, identified by the neighbours as Maulvi Irshad, fled the scene before the police could take him into custody.
