College in I-8/3: FDE issued notice over construction
CDA served notice against the construction of the college, which it deems illegal.
ISLAMABAD:
The land being used for the construction of a boys’ college in I-8/3 was meant for two primary schools. The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Saturday served a notice to the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) against the construction of the college, which it deems illegal. A CDA official said that the authority had allotted the land to the FDE for the construction of two schools, since there is no primary school in I-8/3. As per the by-laws, the FDE will have to pay the price of the land now, as the authority had allotted the land free of charge only for the schools, the official added.
