Accountability court reissues summons to Sharif family

Orders Sharif brothers to themselves or through counsel present mother, children in next hearing.

RAWALPINDI:
The accountablity court hearing  the Ittefaq Foundry and assets cases reissued summons notices to Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and their families, Express News reported on Saturday.

The court ordered the brothers to either themselves, or through their counsel, present their mother and children in the next hearing.


Earlier, the accountability court in Rawalpindi had issued summons for July 28 to Nawaz Sharif’s family while hearing the applications filed by National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) chief, seeking the reopening of three references against the family.

NAB chief Admiral Fasih Bokhari had submitted applications pertinent to Hudaibia Paper Mills, Ittefaq Foundry and Raiwind Palace.
