Cricket: Wallstreet win by nine wickets

KARACHI: Wallstreet crushed Khyber Green Fata by nine wickets in the 17th Dr MA Shah Night Trophy match at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium yesterday. Salman Ali scored an unbeaten 88 off just 33 balls which helped his team achieve the target of 144 in just 10.5 overs. Ali struck seven sixes and five boundaries while Mohammad Waqas scored 46 off 28 balls, hitting three sixes and two fours. Babar Rehman claimed three wickets while Waseem Ahmed bagged two scalps for Khyber Green Fata. Earlier, Zakir Afridi scored 67 off 55 balls by hitting three boundaries and as many sixes for Khyber Green Fata. Meanwhile, Dollar East defeated Advance Telecom in VFC event. Shehzar Mohammad scored a half-century, helping Dollar East set a target of 155. Advance Telecom could only manage 136 for six in 20 overs.
