Knightley wants to avoid big movie roles

The 27-year-old plans to reconsider taking roles in films which will thrust her into the limelight.

LOS ANGELES:
Actress Keira Knightley has featured in big ticket films like Pride and Prejudice and the Pirates of the Caribbean series, but now she wants to turn her back on blockbuster movies to step away from the spotlight.

The 27-year-old plans to reconsider taking roles in films which will thrust her into the limelight as she hates constant public scrutiny of her life, reports dailystar.co.uk.

"It comes to a point where you think 'What kind of film can I make that will allow me to live a proper life?' and those big budget movies make it difficult," said Knightley.

"I do actually love blockbusters, but that decision has a lot that comes with it that I am not prepared to go with. I don't think if a model is in an advertising campaign, then she should not be able to walk down the street feeling safe," she said.
