Colleague’s abduction: Doctors to go on complete strike
Along with the government hospitals, the private hospitals would also observe strike across the province.
QUETTA:
On the call of Pakistan Medical Association (PMA), Balochistan Chapter, the doctors will observe complete strike from Friday to protest abduction of surgeon of Bolan Medical College (BMC) hospital Quetta, Dr Din Muhammad Bangulzai. President PMA Balochistan, Dr. Sultan Tareen along with other PMA leaders made the announcement at a press conference here on Thursday. Dr Sultan demanded recovery of the abducted doctor within 24 hours, otherwise doctors would go on strike for an indefinite period. He added that along with the government hospitals, the private hospitals would also observe strike across the province. He said that despite passage of five days, the law enforcement agencies could not recover Dr Din Muhammad.
