Unrest: Three dead in Balochistan shootings

Three people were killed and five others wounded on Thursday in separate incidents of firing in Mastung, Quetta and Ziarat, while Naseerabad police recovered three kidnapped women.


According to Levies Force, an armed clash erupted between two groups of a tribe in Ispalinji area of Mastung district over a piece of land, which resulted in the death of one Allam Khan while five others were wounded.

Levies force personnel rushed to the site after the incident and moved the injured to hospital where they were identified as Ghulam Nabi, Pasond Khan, Muhammad Sadiq, Kabir Ahmed and Abdul Aziz.

In another incident, unidentified armed men shot dead Muhammad Ali in Railway Society area of Quetta. The motive behind the killing could not be confirmed.

In another incident, armed men dumped the body of Sher Khan in Ziarat. Levies Force has registered a case and started further investigation into the incident.

In Naseerabad, police on a tip-off raided a house in Goth Nabi Bakhsh and recovered three women from the house who were kidnapped from Nankana area of Punjab. The kidnapped women were identified as Kausar, Iqara and Kiran.

Police have registered a case and started further investigation into the incident.
