Threat: Suspended cops reinstated

LAHORE:
Inspector general of Punjab Police on Thursday issued orders to reinstate all police personnel serving suspensions under the PEEDA Act 2006.
The order states a shortfall of police officials in lieu of the need for more police cover at religious institutions in Ramazan. The order does not apply to officials suspended on allegations of corruption or facing disciplinary proceedings.
