Infant’s death: Police told to complete investigation
Police to complete investigation of allegations against young doctors for causing an infant’s death by July 31.

The Lahore High Court on Wednesday directed Gowalmandi police to complete its investigation of allegations against young doctors for causing an infant’s death by July 31. Justice Ijazul Ahsan was hearing a petition seeking the quashment of the FIR registered by the child’s father who alleges that his child died because the doctors pulled out the drip he was being administered. On Wednesday, Advocate Raja Zulqarnain, the doctors’ counsel, said his clients had been “dragged into a false case”. He said all the doctors nominated in the FIR had been working at Services Hospital while the alleged incident took place at Mayo Hospital.
