Cricket: Junaid inaugurates flood-lit event
All-Pakistan Akhtar Nawaz Khan Shaheed Memorial Floodlight cricket tournament kicked off at the Khalabat Township.

The second all-Pakistan Akhtar Nawaz Khan Shaheed Memorial Floodlight cricket tournament kicked off at the Khalabat Township Cricket ground yesterday evening. Pakistan fast-bowler Junaid Khan inaugurated the tournament that will see over 80 teams from across the country including Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Peshawar, Chakwal, Wah Cantt and Lahore participating in it. The opening match of the tournament – with every innings comprising eight overs – will be played between Young Tarbela and Rawalpindi division.
