Pointing fingers: BLA has large terror network, says Malik

Adds we have confirmed reports regarding the involvement of BLA in targeted killings of people.

KARACHI: Senior Adviser to the Prime Minister on Interior Affairs Rehman Malik on Monday said that the Balochistan Liberation Army’s (BLA) sphere of terror activities extends from Balochistan and Karachi to other parts of the country as well. “The BLA kidnaps those people who either refuse to work with them or give up their affiliation with the organisation,” he claimed. Talking to media following an event at the coast guard office, Malik said, “We have confirmed reports regarding the involvement of BLA in targeted killings of people, which I can share with the chief justice of the Supreme Court,” he said.
