Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has also expressed his dissatisfaction over the working of CDA and its failure in providing basic amenities to the citizens, said a press release issued by the PM secretariat on Friday. He directed the CDA chairman to take steps for improved service delivery and make a comprehensive uplift plan for the city and submit it to him in two days.
The prime minister was chairing a meeting attended by the Cabinet secretary Nagis Sethi, CDA chairman and other officials.
The premier directed the CDA chief to take steps to ensure the provision of clean drinking water, garbage disposal, footpaths’ repair and streetlights, and other facilities across the city.
The prime minister wanted to see improvement in weeks not months and directed the cabinet secretary to supervise all CDA affairs and keep him informed on a regular basis.
