Ramazan: K-P to curb unannounced load-shedding
Pesco officials to complete ongoing electricity provision schemes with proper planning.
PESHAWAR:
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Minister for Information Mian Iftikhar Hussain has said that the government is taking concrete steps to avoid unscheduled power outages during the month of Ramazan by ensuring implementation of the load-shedding schedule. He said this in a special meeting with the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) chief here on Thursday. He directed the Pesco officials to complete ongoing electricity provision schemes with proper planning. Hussain asked the Pesco chief to furnish transformers to areas who have deposited the required amount in this regard. He said that the amount has been given to the Water and Power Development Authority for the installation of 11 transformers.
