Indo-Pak trade: Officials to discuss cross-LoC trade
Pakistan delegation will be headed by Zehra Akbari, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Director General (South Asia)
ISLAMABAD:
A Pakistan-India Working Group will discuss Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) to facilitate travel and trade across the Line of Control (LoC) at its meeting in Islamabad on July 19, 2012. The Pakistan delegation will be headed by Zehra Akbari, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Director General (South Asia); while the Indian side will be led by YK Sinha, Joint Secretary (PAI) of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs. The joint working group is meeting in pursuance of a decision taken during foreign secretary level talks on peace and security held on July 4-5, 2012; which included discussions on CBMs, Jammu and Kashmir and friendly exchanges.
